1993 BMW 740 transmission progam light

When i'm driving and come to a complete stop and proceed to drive the transmission program light comes on it's not often. Could this be due to a bad transmission sensor switch or transmission harness wiring.

If youre not having any driving issues id say not to worry about it yet. But if you want to know what to do next, take it to a shop that can read an OBD1 bmw transmission and see what the codes are.
