Swapping 91 Toyota Corolla Transmission to a 92 Nissan Sentra

I was wondering if its possible to swap the manual transmission from a 91 toyota corolla over to my automatic 92 nissan sentra. The corolla seems to have the same engine. 16 valve DOHC 1.6L Engine. Same as my sentra. Any ideas?

I wonder if the interior where the clutch pedal assembly is, is the same. The part numbers are all different. On the surface they may look the same but I think there is more work than you think and a lot of fabricating to be done.

The trans, most likely will but it is the accessories from the donor car may not.

Yeah thats what im wondering, I always thought that cars came off the line ready to accept both options, either the manual transmission or automatic transmission. Hmm. Ill go look and see if I can find where the clutch pedal would go on. If there isnt a spot ill just have to fix the car and sell it for a nissan with a manual transmission
