car problems

i have a 1992 mercury grand marquis 4.6 v8 and my car drives good but when u stop at a traffic light it doesnt idle it just shuts off. need to know whats wrong

look for vacuum leaks or possibly a malfunctioning IAC vavle.

Also run a scan, not all faults will set a MIL.
