I took my 91 toyota corolla to the car wash where it goes thru a line and receives undercariage wash and everything. Now the brake lights don't turn off even when the car is off. I have to disconnect the battery every time I turn it off or else it drains it. Any ideas on what it is or what to do about it?

Check the brake switch located on bracket above the brake pedal. Seems the brake switch stopper has disintegrated resulting in the brake switch not turning off.

It should be coincindence that it failed after the car wash.
