Brake light on the dash is on all the time. Brake fluid OK. Haven't noticed any difference in brake pedal travel or in braking action. Replaced the parking brake switch. Still on after replacing switch.

The light will also come on if parking brake is engaged. Try wiggling the parking brake lever and see if light blinks, if it does then PB switch is stuck.

I recently replaced the parking brake release switch and the dash light is still on all the time. I checked operation of the switch with ignition key on while I had the console cover off of park brake lever and it stays on constant. No flickering or momentary off/on of light on dash panel.

So while you had console off the parking brake switch did not work?

The other swicth that activates the PB switch is the MC fluid level switch.

Also, when you tirn ign. To on does the battery light work?

A bad alternator will activate both the batt. And brake light.
