Honda Prelude Fuel pressure Problem
Hi I have a friend that has a prelude.
It starts then dies after a few minutes and won`t start up.
If you leave it for 15 - 20 minutes it will start up but do the same thing again.
It hasn`t got spark to the plugs or coil when trying to start it.
I have been reading some of the answers and it seems to point to the main relay or maybe fuel pressure.
Dose that sound true?

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge and also try swapping the main relay with a like one and see what happens-also go and review this link: http://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-stalls and http://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

Most of the time the problem with Preludes stalling or not starting relates to a crack in the fuel pump. Take it to a competent auto-electrician and they will give you the same answer. Take it to an incompetent one and they will tell you just about anything.
