My 1990 honda civic has absolutely no power on the low end but once i accelerate and finally get the rpms up to about 2500 it runs fine until it drops below 2500 rpms...any suggestions???
Scan for codes and check fuel pressure first
Ok how do i check fuel pressure?
You can rent a gauge at an auto parts store most of the time otherwise a pro has to do it
Ok i had it checked and the mechanic said the pressure was fine and it idles and in park will have good throttle response...until i put it into gear then it bogs right down...what would cause that any ideas?
Did you scan for codes? also check intake vacuum and if 15" or under suspect a clogged converter.
Can anyone guide through changing the fuel pressure regulator?
