1990 Ford F-150 Won't stay running

I jumped my truck and it started but it wouldnt stay running. I'd have to rev it to keep it going any further, but when I let up it dies again. Would it be an alternator problem, because it has a new battery, but it died just a couple days after I got it.

Yes, it sounds like the alternator has failed. I would charge the battery and then check the output of the alternator with a voltmeter. It should be 14 to 14.5 volts
