My bronco ll starts great when cold but when it gets to operating temperature it dies on the side of the road. Its like it not getting gas or some type of sensor shuts the gas system down. Like I say the next day it runs fine. I'm sick of needing a pull.

Does your Check Engine Light come on, while starting, verifying that it does work?

Is it on constantly?

If so you need your codes checked....Your rig is OBD I, it will require testing different than OBD II, a parts store may be able to help you/ show you how to retrieve your codes.

If I had to just "Poop", you out a last dying request (can't hold me to this!)

I'd say have your ignition module tested (it's on the distributor) a special tool will remove it (so don't muff it up, using something else!)

Have 'em test it 4-8 times to warm it up, if the last ones fail, replace it.

Insure whether you re-install it, or a new one, get a packet of "Heat Sync" stuff to smear on the back
