I was driving at 40 mph and the car started to run rough and lacked power. I replaced the plugs and it was better. How can I tell if the timing chain jumped a tooth? All 6 cylinders are firing, just rough idle and lack of power

Ok, I will check it, however, I was under the impression that an electric fuel pump either works or not. In my 88 Astro Van the timing chain jumped a tooth and acted the same way. With it I could tell by advancing the distributer, but this car has coil packs so I do not know how to check it. THANK YOU for the reply.
