Many things can cause low compression. You will have to inspect the engines internal parts to determine the exact cause. Burnt valves, worn piston rings, blown head gasket, scratched cylinder walls can all cause low compression.

Will low compression cause your vehicle to lose power and what damage can it cause if not quickly repaired? Also, is it costly to repair?
