My blower is making a loud noise when at the high setting. Is the blower motor about to go?

Is it a high pitched squealing sound?

If so, then yes the blower motor needs to be replaced.

It's more or a low sound. My wife says it sounds like a blender. Maybe a good quality blender.

That could just be a piece of debit in the fan.
Like a leaf or something.

So you might not have to replace it.
But you'll want to take it out so it's not annoying you anymore.
