I have a 1988 Toyota corolla and every time I put my car in reverse or turn AC on it feels like it doesn't get enough power and stalls out. Can someone tell me what that may be?

The idling speed is too low and Fast Idle Control Device seems to be faulty.

It also seems to do the same thing if the ac was off. So either way it feels like it doesn't have enough power and just stalls out. Also when I attempted to shut off the engine it feels like its having a hard time when it shuts off and the engine starts to shake for second and then shuts off. Could that also be from the Idle?

Check for vacuum leaks, If the air hose is cracked, it would result in engine stalling when it opens up, especially when in reverse.
