What can cause the transmission to slip in 1st but have revers and 2-3.
The trams mission has reverse 2nd and 3rd gear but if you have it in 1st gear it slips pretty bad and moves slowly but in drive it dose not move at all. I changed the filter and noticed little steal shavings in the pan. what can be the cause of that?

It could be that the clutches are worn, the low / reverse band needs adjusted, or it is low on trans fluid.
