How do I remove the tail pan on my 79 K5 Blazer

I'm trying to scrap my car and I cant figure out how to get the tail pan off so I can remove the cab from the frame.

The body shold just be bolted down if you are talking about a skid plate those should just be bolted on unless someone has welded it
there are usually 10 bolts that hold the body on.

Im not talking about the skid plate the tail pan is infront of the rear bumper

You have to pull the rear bummper off first then take the bolts out holding it to the body. There may be push pins as well. Been a while for me on that one I forgot what it was. Sorry. Once you get the bumper off however you might be able to pull the boy off without removing the tail pan.

Unbolt the frame from the body and any other attaching parts then just lift it off.
