2003 Chrysler Town and Country blower fan

Blower fan came on without the car being on it drained the battery. When battery was recharged and the car there was a slight knocking noise in the glove box. It then faded what would be the problem

The front blower power module may need to be replaced. Easy to get to under the dash board (passenger side for Pacifica).

Hello,

The issue is likely caused by a faulty automatic temperature control (ATC) module. On the these vehicles with automatic climate control, this module controls the fan operation. It is likely shorted and providing constant power to the fan.
The ATC is located behind the glove box. To access it, just lower the glove box, there should be tabs on the side, just press them inwards to release the box lower to a opening that houses the ATC.
