I've had overheating issues, however I keep coolant in it to prevent overheating. Saturday it never showed overheating but started making a weird flapping noise then the engine cut off and has not cranked since. It had white smoke coming out of the radiator area and oil (i assume) was everywhere. We checked my oil, and it had plenty of oil in it. It will not start at all. What could have happened? I had a diagnostic about 5 months ago and there were absolutely no engine or transmission issues other than leaking radiator.

Hi,

Which engine does the vehicle have in it? I just want to confirm it is the 3.6L V6. Also, when you say will not crank, do you mean the starter doesn't engage or it does, but the engine won't run?

If I understand correctly, when it stalled, the engine was not overheating, correct? Also, is there an area on the engine where the oil is most present?

If the starter does engage and turn the engine, please record it and upload it so I can hear what it is doing. Additionally, take a look through this link and let me know if it helps:

Let me know.
