I just did an engine swap and while I was at work someone messed around my garage so now, I have to replace both positive and negative terminals. Could you help me with a schematic, so I know what and where each one connects to. Like pos to starter, alternator, etc., and neg to body, etc. I could use some help here and I appreciate you guys for real!!!

Sure, here are the main wiring diagrams for the battery, main ground and the alternator, please let me know if you need anything else. If you have a question just upload an image and I can help walk you through the problem.

Additional ground straps are used to connect the body and frame to the engine and transmission. Always connect all ground straps to ensure a good ground path to the battery from all electrical components.

Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

Thanks for the image and video, it looks like that is an aftermarket device I don't recognize, does your vehicle have dual batteries? also if you can back up a little when doing the pics and videos it will help me see more fo what's going on.

Does that lead come off of the battery cable itself, because on aftermarket battery cables then have an auxiliary power lead that is used in some applications but not all. If you can back up slightly with the video or image so I can see the arrangement it will help me see what's going on.

Okay, that thing is mounted behind the battery on the fender well and that is the only cable coming off of it and I can't see another wire anywhere that would connect to it but I'll upload pictures when I get home in the morning.

It looks like it is a junction block for the battery cables that is why I asked if you had two batteries. When you upload more images we can continue.
