Will the DRAC module keep the transmission from shifting?

Replaced transmission (4l80e} still no shift after first. Transmission known to be good. ECM good. Unable to find seasoned techs with 1994 and earlier Chevrolet diesel experience.

It is possible. I attached some info on this. However, the more likely cause is the output shaft speed sensor not functioning properly. So did the new unit come with new speed sensors?

Let's also check and see if you have any codes and we can go from there.
