I probably need more information. If the donor is a 1999 Suburban 1500 and the recipient is a 2004 Suburban 1500, then yes. Otherwise, get me VIN numbers and I will dig around. Alternatively, you can also call the local Chevrolet dealership's parts department and they should be able to look up the interchange information there.

I believe it is a 1999 1500 possibly 1998 it been sitting on my buddies property for a long time the original owner long gone. I could get the VIN number off it if that helps and mine is the 2004 1500.

1998 will not fit. 1999 might. If it is a 1500 then it should. I really cannot give a definite answer without definite information. But if it has been sitting for a while, then I would highly suggest just buying a new one. Amazon has them starting around $65.00 for a 4x4 model.

Actually I now see one for $44.00 from Detroit axle on Amazon. I can speak to their quality as I have one of their hubs on my 2002 4x4 Blazer and it has been there for seven or eight months with no issues.

I am just stuck in a town a couple hours from home. I do not have days to spare nor the money to buy one at the local auto part store. I have a wife and to small children at home and my job on the line. Would the bearings themselves fit if I pressed them?

What happened to the bearing assembly? If it's just noisy, you can drive on it for a long time. I had one become noisy on my '88 Grand Caravan in southern Georgia, but I drove it home to Wisconsin without issue. Just had to listen to the annoying hum.

Yeah sometimes that's true. But when mine went it was a matter of 2 days (maybe 150 low speed miles) before it was roaring so bad that the floorboard was vibrating
