Part identification needed

What is that part after the downpipe? It looks like it allows me to go back to a 2 to 3 flange bolt and adds length. Please help

Good morning,

It is an intermediate pipe.

Do you have that on your car? It will be there for longer wheelbases.

No somebody just cut a down pipe and resonator. Then they welded it together. I was driving and the exhaust started to make a crazy loud noise. Now im here just trying to put it all back together the right way. Any advice given would be soo helpful thank you very much.
