The Haynes repair manual mentioned a body control module on this vehicle but the manual is too technical for me and I can't grasp or understand or comprehend the body control module's functions, it's the first time ever that I heard about a body control module on an automobile and I have been driving a car since 1988 from the carburetor and mechanical fuel pump equipped 1986 Mercury Lynx wagon to the sequential electronic fuel injection and coil-on-plug direct distributor-less ignition equipped in the vehicle listed above SV.
