I was driving and out of no where my car started to slow down and then the service traction, service stabilitrak, and reduce speed now came on. I kept going for a mile since I was close to my destination but before I can make it. The warning light engine hot, A/C off came on. I pulled over turned the engine off but it kept running for about thirty seconds. I left it for fifteen minutes then when my husband started it, it had no warning light on and it ran just fine forma about two minutes then all the warning lights came back on. Does anyone have a clue what it can be? I would appreciate your feedback.

Good morning my name is Roy and I will assist.

The reduced power light is an indication that the throttle control system has a fault. There is a sensor on the throttle body that is a common failure for this but we need the code set for the failure to further help you. I suggest taking it to a parts store and have them check the code for you. This is a free service from the parts store. Once you have the code, report back to us so we can help you get to the root cause of the failure.

If the light returns and there is no throttle response, just pull over, turn the car off and restart. That will clear the system and it will work until the fault returns.
