1999 Volvo S80 water pump

1999 Volvo S80 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I would like to know if there is a trick to removing the water pump from this vehicle it seems as if everything is loose but I cant get the pump out any ideas

Remove the 2 front engine pad bolts. Remove the upper bar for the upper torque mount. Get a floor jack and a piece of wood and jack up the engine. That should give you some more clearance to get the pump out. Good luck and hope this helps.
