2000 Volvo S40 no get up and go

Engine Performance problem
2000 Volvo S40 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 81.000 miles

The car is starting to lose power up hills, and passing on highways, I have replaced my spark plugs and air filter. When I first start the car and go its fine, but as soon as I get up to about 60mph I feel like it has a loss of power, the fuel injector treatment on two tanks. I havent replaced the fuel filter or messed with the injectors yet. Am I on the right track. Thankyou

Same thing happened to me at about 60k or so. All of a sudden when I was excelerating onto the freeway, the power just went away and the car behaved irradically the rest of the drive home. It really freaked me out. Turns out volvo programs the cars to pull that shady stuff at about 60k and you have to take it in and get the software updated. Its just a way to make sure they can rake the people who dont trade in their model every 2 years.
