Wiring Problem 1996 850

Have an 1996 Volvo 850 5 cylinder 170k miles and the left blinker will not blink it will stay on constantly front and back (even with keys removed). I also had to unplug the horn due to it going off in conjunction with the alarm flashing going down the road. The alarm would just start flashing and the horn would beep in time with that. That is also how the Blinker problem started. Need some help car runs out good but unable to get inspection for registration.

Try to disconnect the battery for few min
some times the BCM will recognize the switch and it will start working again
The switch it was a common problem
But if u r going for sticker tries to get the emission tested before disconnecting the battery
Or you have to drive for about 50 miles before the car can b tested for emission
