1995 Volvo 850 lost key

1995 Volvo 850 6 cyl 90000 miles

I purchased a 1995 volvo 850- only had one key-only took me one week to lose it. It has been 4 weeks- key has never turned up-- how can I get key replaced? Do I have to have it towed to dealer where they can see the car? HELP!

When I lost my key a volvo dealer got proof of ownership info then ordered key it came the next day. It cost 25.00. Because of theft prevention the key cannot be copied. Hope this helps. Rick h
