1994 Volvo 850 How do I remove my alternator

Can anyone provide the specific steps to remove the alternator from my 1994 Volvo 850?

I get the feeling that if you don't know your car is a 5 cylinder vice 6 maybe you don't really want to tackle this. But if you do start by disconnecting the battery. You will have to unbolt the power steering pump and lift it up and out of the way. You do not have to disconnect the fluid lines. It is also much easier if you drain the coolant and disconnect the upper rad hose. To get at the three bolts on the front of the power steering pump insert the socket through holes in the pulley. If you can't get your ratchet and socket in, remove the computers in the black box on the passenger inner fender and remove the black box (they just snap out). With the power steering pump out of the way, disconnect the two wires on the back of the alternator and undo the bolts holding it in. Reassemble in revers order. Make sure you get the correct size (output amperage) alternator for your car.
