Battery tests good, alternator tests good off of the vehicle but not when a full charging test is done with the alternator installed. The test says bad alternator voltage regulator. All connections to alternator and battery have been cleaned and checked. Truck never has a problem starting but the dash gauge for voltage reads low. Voltage at the alt and battery are the same, 13.1 volts. In addition, when this problem started occurring I also start having problems with the truck having zero power on take off. It seems like staying in first forever with no power. Once it does shift, it is fine for the rest of the trip until the truck it shut off for a period of time and then it does it again.

check fuse and fusible link twist the link while you check it . It may be only holding by a couple of strands not giving correct voltage it should be battery voltage on both sides. check fuse as well with test light/volt meter. I am assuming battery was load tested . One other thing belt and tension-er should be replaced at 60,000 miles and if any oil/antifreeze then should be replaced. forgot picture will send in another post.
