Hi I have a 2L vw transporter petrol and the gearbox has lost 5th gear so I was thinking just to take the engine and gear box out and puttin in the same year out of 2L gti golf or polo do you think it will fit and any helps and tips would be helpfull thankyou

Your transmission is computerized it will be one of the following:
A.T, trans code "DNE" A.T, trans code "DNF"
A.T, trans code "DRG"

you need to have the correct transmission or it will not work
