The VW Dealership Service Center insists that the transmission is fine, according to test driving and computer evaluation, but about once a day, between first and second gear, my Jetta "Lurches" or Thugs to pick up speed into 2nd gear.

VW wants me to bring it in a second time, but
does anyone know if this is normal for some
Jetta's? I want to make sure since it is still under
warranty.

Also, can you tell me how to disable the automatic door locks when I pick up speed, and how to disable the auto front windows that go all the way up or all the way down instead of me controlling them?

If it is a shifting issue, itis most likely the transmisison. Does it do this more when hot? That is usually when they begin to have problems. The locks and windows are controlled by a "body computer" im not sure of any way to disable one particular function like that
