2001 Volkswagen Jetta Running bad

Hello, my check engine light has been on and off for the last month with out performance issues other than poor gas miliage. Yesterday it started running ruff. And today I took it to my local autozone and got the codes. P0420 and P0303. Where should I start? Since the one code is saying a misfire, should I change all the plugs? What else?

First lets get to that number 3 cylinder missfire. Have you checked that plug and wire? If not then do that first. If you have a digital multi meter then check the ohms of that wire and check the plug to see what it looks like. Get back to me with what you find here and then we will get to the other code.
