i keep getting a flat battery brought a new one in march 2009 problem seemed to go away now its going flat again took it back to garage and they said it was the senter what is this and what does it do (RAC checked car and said faulty battery)

Get the alternator and battery load tested if okay could be a short draining the battery-do below battery drain test.

Thanks had battery etc checked by RAC they said battery faulty when I took car back to garage they said battery ok its a sensor gone and they would have to order one would this be true or are they ripping me off

Try checking fuse no. 16 15amp in the fuse/relay panel if okay could be a wiring or the charge indicator problem.
