Hello,

I have a little of a weird issue at around 80 MPH my car starts to vibrate. I would almost say it gets less intense when I give it more throttle and when I do full throttle at highways speeds it seems to shudder/ vibrate with accompanied noise of what almost sounds like metal pressing against rubber and causing air to escape from it. My first thought is motor mounts but there is no/little vibration at idle or at normal speeds. I would appreciate your opinion.

Hi,

As far as the vibration is concerned, that could be as simple as tire balance or a bent wheel. Have you checked either as well as the tire condition?

Next, has the check engine light come on or flash when this happens? If it is loud enough and you can do it safely, could you record the sound you hear and upload it for me to hear?

Let me know.
