It all started out a month ago or so, I noticed a slight shake when accelerating. You can really feel it in the center console. It started out only happening every 100 miles or so but now the shaking has increased and happens within a mile. So I decided to take it to a mechanic and he said it was my center support bearing on my driveshaft that is causing the shaking. Is this the case?

Bought new carrier bearing and new u-joints. Mechanic said it'll cost 40 USD to put it on. Is this a fair price or should I shop around? Thanks
