Someone bent the vacuum line to fuel tank I bent it back but has a kink in it when my car gets up in speed or I get on the gas it shuts off. Also, air escapes when I take the gas cap off. Can I cut the kink out and use a rubber fuel line and clamps and is that my problem?

You can try it just make sure rubber line is on steel part far enough on both sides.

I hope that is my problem I have replaced almost everything from heat censor to MAP censor the car runs okay until it runs for a while or when you get on the gas or over forty five mph. The car was only driven 3,500 miles a year almost everything I have replaced was original. Thanks for your reply.

Check fuel pressure if TBI or four cylinder should be 9-11 psi key on and V6 41-47 psi key on only.
