I was driving back from a 100 or so mile trip yesterday and my rpm's went up to 4,000. Lost control of steering and gas pedal. I pulled over and the truck stalled and now will only click over, will not start.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

You say the RPM's went up. While the engine was still running did you lose power assist steering and throttle response or did the RPM's drop and then you lost them?

Next, you indicate the starter clicks. Is it turning the engine or is it just a click and nothing more?

Let me know.

Joe
