I have an STS that I need to get smogged this month and is running a little rough. I ran the codes and it came back with PO303 and PO741. I know the 303 is cylinder number three misfiring, which a tune-up should fix. Its the 741 that I have no idea where the torque converter clutch solenoid is or a clue where to find it. My code reader says also it might be stuck off. If so how would I un-stick it? Thank you for your help always appreciated.

The misfire can be anything so in order to not waste money on good parts have a mechanic fix that because it can be a sensor/injector/or basic engine problem. The shift solenoid is inside the transmission and could be a bad converter or wiring etc. I doubt it is stuck although possible.
