Trouble code p0108 Manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit high. What is this and how do I fix it?

Hello,

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is attached to the side of the engine throttle body.

The MAP sensor is used as an input to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). It is a sensor helps the PCM control the air / fuel mixture ratio. Which helps the PCM determine the amount of fuel that the engine will need as well as spark advance.

I have attached the location of the MAP sensor for both the 4.7L V8 and 5.9L V8. Please refer to the pictures.
Also I have included step by step diagnostics for the code P0108. This will help you determine if you need a new MAP sensor or the issue is somewhere else.
