Transmission leak

Transmission fluid pouring out.I know there is a protective plate that is missing and that's where the fluid is coming from. But I don't know what anything is called so that's all I can tell you.I hope you will know what area I'm talking about and can tell me what might be causing the leak.

Hi,

I believe there is an inspection on the bottom front of the transmission near where it bolts to the engine. Is that where you see the leak?

If it is possible, take a pic of the location and upload it for me to see. Hopefully, I'll be able to direct you.
