I am getting ready to do a CVT fluid change on my vehicle listed avoce Versa Note and was curious if the CVT fluid strainer is located directly underneath the drain pan? It’s part # 31728-3XX0A I’m trying to find the location. I plan on also swapping the filter on the side behind the drivers wheel fascia, part # 31726-28X0A. I wanted to do a full change of the filters because it’s almost 100,000 miles with hard driving.

Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions from the vehicle manufacturer for the removal and installation of the CVT Fluid Strainer for your vehicle. Please go through this guide and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex

Not sure what all you needed past the strainer location but I attached the other filter as well.

Let me know if you need more info. Thanks.

Thank you both! I was curious if the strainer was located before the control unit or behind that and had to remove that. It’s a sensitive part that I didn’t want to remove and I’m glad I don’t have to. I searched for hours looking for the diagram and bolt patterns for the oil pan on the transmission in my AllData guide and couldn’t find it. I knew it was there, but it’s a challenge to navigate if you don’t have knowledge in the way it’s organized. Either that or I’m just a space cadet.

Glad we were able to get what you needed. Please come back if you need other info in the future.

If you care too, leave us a review at the link below. Clearly it is not necessary but if you feel like it, it will help get the word out about what we have to offer. Thanks again.
