During a recent oil change it was discovered that transmission fluid got into the oil. It drove fine onto the ramps but will not go in reverse now. Any idea on why this happened and how to fix it?

I do not know how transmission fluid got into the oil. There are no close places they share they go cross each other. Are you sure it was not transmission fluid into the coolant?

Transmission fluid goes through the radiator into the tank of the radiator into a transmission cooler. But there is no where I can possibly think of that transmission fluid can get into the oil. Unless they drained the transmission fluid by mistake and do not want to admit that. I have seen people on those cars mistake the transmission filter for the oil filter many times. Because it spins on like a oil filter.
