Hello, I have a problem with the transmission, when the gear goes from 2nd to 3rd (automatic transmission), the engine goes into overdrive, and it takes about 3 seconds for it to change gear. For the other gears, there is no problem. What would be the problem here in your opinion? Have a nice day!

This could be a couple of issues, so we need to start with the basics.

This means we need to check the fluid and find out if it is low.

Low fluid will create pressure issues and will start to present themselves in some gears before others.

So, let's start with this guide and see what it looks like:

Once we know what the fluid looks like we will have a better idea what to do next but the likely cause after this is a solenoid issue or possible overall valve body issue.

Basically, what is happening is you have a drop in pressure when you are at this point and that is causing the shifting issue and then the pressure builds, and it is able to make the shift.

We need to find the cause of the pressure issue and that starts with fluid.

Let us know and we can go from there.

Thanks
