Hey I have a 87 4.3l el Camino the transmission is stuck in park. Tryed shaking the wheel from side to side to get it lose. Also shook the linkage a little bit. Yet still nothing. The car has been sitting for about 6-8 months. Can one of yall help me out please and thank you

Does the key turn?

Did you try removing the linkeage from the trans to see if it moves which means a trans issue?
