I get in my truck cold and it starts up fine but when it gets to opperating temp and I turn it off and let it sit for five to ten min it will not start without starter fluid.I think im loosing residuel fuel pressure and the fuel is boiling in the lines. I replaced the fuel pump and had no problems for a short time but nor is worse than ever. I also changed the regulator with no change in performance.

I pushed the door open when the engine was cold and it started and now I cant get it to act up, it always has this problem untill I find someone to help, could that have fixed my problem and if it acts up again can I do your test and e mail u back on this site? Could my air vane be getting stuck and need to be replaced? I dont like to throw parts at things so is there a test I could do to confirm that this was the problem?

Double check the circuit opening relay-the air flow meter grounds the COR coil side thru Fc circuit in order to power up the fuel pump.

Pump has power and runs has 40 lbs but fuel line is full of air causing me to believe that the heat from the engin is boiling the fuel in the rail because of the loss of risidual pressure after it sits for about fifteen min that also would explain whay the starter fluud will let the truck start and run. I drive this thing all day and it runs great but if I turn it off it will not start for at least an hour unless I give it starterfluid so could a bad injector be causing it to leak down enough to cause that problem?
