when at a stop sign or red light the pedal is high and solid but will slowly sink to the floor, almost like there is a leak in a line but i am not losing any fluid.

ok, i think i can do that. another issue i have is an oil leak. after i bought the truck, i was checking it out under the hood and found what turned out to be the crank pulley bolt laying on the frame, the big one in the center. the truck just had a head job done and i assume they forgot to put it in. dont know how it didnt fly apart. anyway could this be the root problem of my oil leak?
