1987 Toyota Pickup

I don't know if this will help but I have an 85 and I just dropped the tank, changed the filter and pump. I'm not sure if they were the same but there was only one small, see through filter on top of the tank. Its only anout the size of a vienna sausage can and has two ports. The fule lines on mine go straight from there and the tank to the fuel pump, no other filters of breaks. Make sure you mare where the lines go cuase obviously if they are reversed they will cause problems. I forgot where mine went but luckly I guessed right. Like I said I don't know if they are the same but hopefully this will help. Sarah
