This truck was my bother-n-laws it has been sitting for about 10 yrs, He was a fireman and died in a very unfortunant accident while building a new home. He loved this truck and I want to fix it but theres alot I don't know about autos.
Anyway I am puting it back on the road and need to purge the fuel from the tank. Q- How do I do that without removing the tank?

Best method is to remove the tank-the john wayne type siphon it out then again them debris is stiill in there. Pick your choice

Running it till its out of gas is a bad idea.

I gave you my best idea how to remove that fuel from the tank. However you choose to degrade me by a bad point. You should have did your research before coming on board with your problem-Don't expect a perfect answer from us in one shot Remember we're not there. AS for your drain plug you still need to get to the pick-up screen to clean it up real good-unless you got one of them electric eyeball you can sent in there to do the inspection and clean up.

BTW its okay to demand for answers if you have donated, in your case you didn't do that. It takes money to run this site. Like the old saying goes-money talks.
