I bought a used toyota corolla with 30k miles problem is when the key is in the on position fuel pump wont turn on and also there is no spark. The circuit opening relay does not turn on when key is in on position. I have checked all the wires no broken wires. But the car wont start. Any input would be appretiated the car has been sitting since 2001.

Check fuses and relays.

Every fuse and relay is working. I thinknthe hall effect switch might be the problem for no spark. But y would the fuel pump not turn on to pressurize. It does turn on when starting to car.

PCM must receive an ignition reference pulse, or pump will shut off.
