Hello, I wish to get more out of my car. Is it a good idea to install a performance chip. Will that harm the car. CAn I put everything back if I am not satisfied with the chip.

Generally a waste of money, exceptions would be supercharged or turbo cars, or large V8's in some cases.

To get more power, you need more air, larger stroke, larger valves, different cams, larger TB etc.

Chips will change advance curve and add fuel.
